Back in 2012...L.A. Saehan Bank Flutton Branch

A Korean man in his 50s holds the head of a Korean female branch and holds hostage. I was shot and arrested by the police.

This hostage situation was taken by Koreans in 2007

He committed the crime when he disappeared from the Security Depot Box, which was kept at the Garden Grove branch of the Bank of Korea.

[SBA Disaster Loan Application] Receive guidance and benefit protection program (PPP) loan...[For community convenience] All US-Korea ATMs

KorAm Bank is actively working to help community businesses suffering from the spread of the new Corona virus (CORONA 19, COVID-19).

KorAm Bank announced on Thursday that it will help small businesses apply and receive applications for two programs, the Disaster Loan, a loan program provided by the Federal Small and Medium Business Administration, and the Payroll Protection Program.

At the same time, Hanmi will open all of its ATMs nationwide from April 3 to the end of May so that anyone can use them without fees. This means that during this period, no fees will be charged for using the ATM regardless of whether or not KorAm is a customer.

"As the first Korean-American bank established in 1982 with pure Korean capital, Korea and the U.S. have overcome many crises, including the 1992 LA riots and the 1994 North Ridge earthquake, with the community," said Barney Lee, president of the bank. "We will once again create an opportunity to overcome difficulties together by fulfilling our social responsibilities as a community bank."

한미은행이 신종 코로나 바이러스 (이하 코로나 19, COVID-19) 확산으로 어려움을 겪는 커뮤니티 비즈니스들을 돕기 위해 적극 나선다.

한미은행은 연방 중소기업청(SBA)이 제공하는 피해 기업 지원 대출 프로그램인 재난 대출(Disaster Loan)과 급여 보호 프로그램(PPP: Payroll Protection Program) 등 2가지 프로그램에 대한 스몰 비즈니스들의 신청 및 접수를 돕는다고 30일 발표했다.

동시에 한미는 오는 4월 3일부터 5월 말 까지 전국에 모든 한미 ATM을 누구나 수수료 없이 사용할 수 있도록 오픈한다. 이 기간 동안에는 한미은행 고객 여부와 상관없이 한미 ATM 사용 시 수수료가 부과되지 않는다는 의미이다.

바니 이 행장은 “한미는 1982년 순수 한인자본으로 설립된 첫 한인은행으로서 1992년 LA폭동, 1994년 노스리지 대지진 등 많은 위기를 커뮤니티와 함께 하며 이겨내 왔다”며 “커뮤니티 은행으로서의 사회적 책임을 다해 다시 한번 함께 어려움을 이겨내는 계기를 만들겠다”고 말했다.
